The 38th Ephorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities in collaboration with the ‘FESTIVAL MIDEN’ about the Video Art will present a special video project under the title « Playing with the time ….. Come to Life» in the Archaeological Museum of Messenia.
The Director of the 38th E.P.C.A, Dr Xeni Arapoyanni. will prologue the project on opening day, Friday 08 July 2011 at 7p.m.
The theme « Playing with the time ….. Come to Life» will be screened continuously for the week 08 – 16 July 2011, in the Archaeological Museum of Messenia during the opening hours. It presents a number of videos curated by the visual artist Margarita Stavraki, where the archaeological site and myth become the inspiration field for artistic creations.
